National Basketball Association should 'probably' remove medical marijuana from banned list — David Stern

A portion of the documentary includes a discussion between Harrington and former National Basketball Association commissioner David Stern, who supports the movement to remove weed from the NBA's ban substance list.

Stern made the comment while being interviewed by former National Basketball Association player Al Harrington, who has become a medical marijuana entrepreneur, for a documentary on Uninterrupted.

David Stern said he believes that the National Basketball Association should remove marijuana from its banned substance list.

Smith really hates marijuana and doesn't think it belongs in the National Basketball Association.

Stern acknowledged many players were already smoking marijuana during his tenure, and said it's up to the league to educate team doctors about alternatives to opioids. He told Harrington, "Some of our players came to us and said [players] were high coming into the game, so we began tightening it up".

Hercules star Kevin Sorbo names superstar who sexually harassed him
His murder will be explored next year in two installments of American Crime Story: The Assassination of Gianni Versace . Sorbo later told The Hollywood Reporter that despite their early encounter he remained friends with Versace .

"I think we have to change the Collective Bargaining Agreement and let you do what is legal in your state", Stern says.

The retired National Basketball Association forward has since found further success as an entrepreneur in the legal marijuana business, Harrington explains in a video produced by the digital sports network Uninterrupted. While current commissioner Adam Silver has shown some interest in the medical application of the leaf, Screamin' A. Smith lost his top over the issue.

He continued, "And I can say that because I have seen instances where it has occurred". "I'm very interested in the science when it comes to medical marijuana".

"I think all of the leagues are now appropriately focused on player training, structuring of the right parts of their body, player rehabilitation in the case of injury, player nutrition, player this, player that". "This should be a part of that conversation".

The NBA has no current plans to change any marijuana policies, NBA spokesman Mike Bass stated in the wake of Stern's comments.
