Google on Tuesday marked the 131st anniversary of the invention of the hole puncher with a doodle. While the origins of the hole punch is a disputed topic, Google has acknowledged the 1886 patent by German inventor Friedrich Soennecken. Today (November 14) is the 131st Anniversary of the Hole Puncher, the humble stationery product that is a part of most homes and offices.
