Skier Lindsey Vonn says she'll represent USA at Olympics, not Trump

Lindsey Vonn is slated to ski in her first Olympic Games since 2010 when she won gold in Vancouver

She has a record 77 career women's World Cup victories and is a four-time overall World Cup champion.

"I want to represent our country well", Vonn explained. "I don't think that there are a lot of people now in our government that do that", Vonn told CNN.

Vonn claimed her gold medal in the downhill at the 2010 Vancouver Games and also added a bronze medal in the super-G despite battling a nasty bone bruise on her shin.

"If even a small percentage of that is true I would think the International Olympic Committee did the right thing", she said.

After missing the 2014 Sochi Games with a knee injury, Vonn suffered a broken arm last November that delayed the start of her season until January.

Lindsey Vonn sat down with CNN to talk about the upcoming Winter Olympics which the United States may or may not end up sending athletes to for safety reasons.

In September, he rescinded an invitation to the White House to Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry after Curry said he didn't want the team to visit following its National Basketball Association championship.

"Absolutely not", Vonn told MacFarlane. "No".

"I have to win to be invited. No, actually I think every US team member is invited.so no, I won't go". "So no, I won't go".

Vonn previously visited the White House while Obama was in office. But maybe he hasn't heard about her comments yet.

Asked by Fox News if it was a "done deal" that Team USA would compete, Nikki Haley said: "There is an open question but in the talks we have it's always about 'how do we protect the US citizens in the area?'".
