David Otunga cleared of Jennifer Hudson's domestic abuse allegations

Jennifer Hudson and her fiancé David Otunga and their son David Otunga Jr. attend the 2016 March of Dimes Celebration of Babies on Dec. 9 2016

She told police on November 16 that the couple were arguing over where their child would sleep that night. When he couldn't get in touch with her, he asked their son to record the scene.

Mr. Otunga has never abused or harassed Ms. Hudson or their son, and it is unfortunate, especially in today's climate, that she would feel the need to make these false allegations against him.

Hudosn alleges he then picked up their son and brought him to an upstairs bathroom, declaring: 'I'm not leaving'.

She called for her security guard, but he did not hear her. She filed a report with Burr Ridge, Ill., police, TMZ said. It turned out to be a toy gun, and it was removed from the house. Hudson eventually voluntarily dropped the order of protection and the two were able to reach a temporary custody agreement for the holidays.

In November, TMZ reported Jennifer Hudson obtained a protective order against him for "aggressive, threatening and harassing behavior" toward her.

Former WWE superstar David Otunga has reportedly been cleared of charges in a domestic violence investigation. He said that when police served him with an emergency order of protection, forcibly removing him from their family home in November, allegedly in front of their son and while Hudson wasn't present, she would later tellPEOPLE magazine in a statement that her actions "are exclusively taken in the best interest of their son".

All of this follows an emergency petition he filed on December 11, asking that Hudson be held in contempt of court for violating a an order that prohibits them from disseminating photos or making public comments about their son.

He was seeking to have Jennifer found in civil contempt of court and sanctioned for her actions.

She of course is also having a ball serving as a judge on the UK's version of The Voice.
