Filmfare Awards 2018: Vidya Balan, Irrfan Khan Are Top Winners

The stage is set for the 63rd Jio Filmfare Awards 2018 and the biggest names of B-town have come together to celebrate the achievements of the previous year. Vidya received the Filmfare Best Actor in Leading Role (Female) Award for Tumhari Sulu while Irrfan won the Best Actor in Leading Role (Male) award for Hindi Medium. Actress Meher Vij who has been nominated in the category of Best Actor In A Supporting Role (Female) looked handsome in a sheer glittery gown as she arrived at the venue.

Konkona Sensharma's A Death In The Gunj, Alankrita Shrivastava's Lipstick Under My Burkha, Subhashish Bhutiani's Mukti Bhawan, Amit Masurkar's Newton, and Vikramaditya Motwane's Trapped have been nominated for the Critics' Award for Best Film. The film also won the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Film while Hindi Medium won the Best Film (popular) Award. Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar and Parineeti Chopra will be the co-hosts for the awards ceremony. Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Bareilly Ki Barfi, Secret Superstar and Toilet Ek Prem Katha were the other nominations. The composer-singer has been nominated in the category of "Best Music Album" for two films, "Jagga Jasoos" and "Jab Harry Met Sejal". Meghna Mishra won the Best Playback Singer (Female) Award for "Nachdi Phira" from "Secret Superstar".
