Infiltration bid foiled on LoC in Poonch

Indian fire across LoC kills school van driver in Azad Kashmir

Jammu: More than 300 militants are ready to cross the line of control (LOC) on border of Pakistan, to infiltrate in India, the army said on Wednesday.

Dr. Mohammad Faisal urged the Indian side to respect the 2003 Ceasefire arrangement and investigate this and other incidents of ceasefire violations.

It alleged that the Indian forces "deliberately targeted a school van carrying school children on Battal-Madharpur road, resulting in the death of the driver of the van, Sarfaraz Ahmed, leaving the school children severely traumatised".

Wales told TMO made 'mistake' over no-try call against England
England have lost one No 8 but gained another before the Calcutta Cup match against Scotland in Edinburgh next week. World Rugby then released their own statement regarding the matter.

According to the military's press wing, Indian "unethical and unprofessional" approach across LoC continues terrorising civilians, and is severe violation of the Geneva Convention and ceasefire understanding. "A brief firing exchange took place between the troops and the terrorists". When we looked, the driver had been hit and was bleeding profusely. The students started screaming as there was no one present after which local residents came to their assistance.

On February 7, the defence ministry informed the Parliament that there were 192 ceasefire violations (till January 29) from the Pakistani side along the Line of Control.

On Sunday, three civilians were wounded when Indian forces resorted to unprovoked firing across the LoC. This unprecedented escalation in ceasefire violations by India is continuing from the year 2017 when the Indian forces committed more than 1970 ceasefire violations.
