Kanye West settled lawsuit from 2016 breakdown

Kanye West Kicks Lloyd's of London's Ass ... In Cancelled Tour Lawsuit

The artist spent "hundreds of thousands of dollars" on insurance with Lloyd's to cover the costs of a cancellation but was yet to receive a payment when he launched the action in August.

They accused the insurance company and their agents of having "purposely and maliciously" disseminated "privileged, private and personal information" about West to the media in a bid to undercut his claim.

In an article badged as exclusive and entitled 'Kanye West Kicks Lloyd's Of London's Ass', TMZ reported that the two parties had settled the case out of court.

Oxfam Admits It Rehired Worker Dismissed Over Haiti Sexual Misconduct
Four members of Oxfam staff were dismissed and three, including van Hauwermeiren, left before the investigation had completed. Van Hauwermeiren told the paper that he would respond further through a lawyer in due course. "They let perpetrators go".

"Almost immediately after the claim was submitted, Defendants selected legal counsel to oversee the adjustment of the claim, instead of the more normal approach of retaining a non-lawyer insurance adjuster", West's complaint said. West's hospitalization at the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Hospital Center occurred in November, 2016, after West exhibited weird behavior at several concerts with comments made on stage about Donald Trump and tirades directed at other musicians.

On Wednesday, Lloyd's settled their case with West for an undisclosed sum. He had been hospitalized in November 2016 after a series of concerts he gave where he went on freaky rants about Donald Trump and his friend Jay-Z. Lloyd's initially refused to pay his daughter under the policy, but eventually recanted.

Doctors from UCLA and physicians provided by Lloyd's both concluded that West's medical condition require he not continue with the tour.
