McDonald's fries ingredient may cure baldness

A bald person

"These self-sorted hair follicle germs were shown to be capable of efficient hair-follicle and shaft generation upon intracutaneous transplantation into the backs of nude mice", reads an excerpt from the study.
Researchers at Yokohama National University have successfully grown hair on a bald mouse using an additive found in McDonald's French Fries.

"This simple method is very robust and promising", said Junji Fukuda, one of the study's authors. "We used oxygen-permeable dimethylpolysiloxane (PDMS) at the bottom of culture vessel, and it worked very well". But there's more to love about the fast-food chain as it turns out that a chemical in McDonald's chips might be able to cure baldness.

Japanese scientists say they've found a new treatment for hair loss that may have some of you feeling a little "salty".

The germs were then transplanted into bald mice that began to sprout new fur within days.

House Dems to target over 100 GOP-held districts in midterms
Since Mr Trump's inauguration, Democrats have flipped 35 contested seats, the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee said. His Republican opponent, David Linton, campaigned largely on his anti-abortion and pro-Second Amendment positions.

Fukuda said the technique might be able to eventually help people with alopecia, male pattern baldness or those who've suffered hair loss from cancer treatments, but said human tests probably won't happen for at least five years.

Hair regenerative medicine has emerged as a new therapy to combat the problem. These are reportedly critical in treating hair loss. It involves regenerating hair follicles, the tiny organs that grow and sustain hair.

Experts believe they can use this same method to on humans.
