Tim Tebow Foundation hosts annual 'Night to Shine' prom

The highlight of the night was when every one of the "Night to Shine" guests was crowned a king or queen of the prom.

"They were looking for churches to partner with". The prom event is put on with the Tim Tebow foundation.

Night to Shine is sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation and the Erie event is hosted by the Saint James Roman Catholic Church.

It was a special night for a group of teens as it was their "Night to Shine". More than 92 honored guests and their parents attended the event, along with 150 volunteers who made the night possible.

On Friday, over 100 special needs individuals in St. Joseph and surrounding areas put on attractive prom dresses and suits and were able to be queen or king of the prom for one night. She says over 220 volunteers worked the event on Friday.

"She really had a good time last year, and she couldn't wait for it to start this year", Stevenson said.
