PUBG Hits the 5 Million Players Milestone on Xbox One

PUBG Mobile release INCOMING? Canadian app points to Western iOS Android launch

The news was confirmed this morning on PUBG Mobile's official Facebook page.

In the infographic above, you can see some more figures that have accumulated in PUBG since the game launched in December 2017 for Xbox One, including over 950,000 frying pan kills, nearly 5 million chicken dinners, and strangely, more than 41 million humiliating deaths in the fatal blue zone. As part of a thank-you to the community, Xbox released a new green jacket (seen below) to commemorate the occasion, as well as a special video of highlights.

There's no doubt that mobile devices have gotten extremely powerful, but I do wonder how the game will hold up. For non-Canadian gamers, you can either sit tight and wait for PUBG Mobile to arrive in your local Google Play Store, or change your region to Canada temporarily. But, since it is a soft launch, so it's only available in Canada as of now.

Once the VPN for Canada is up and running, users will need to turn off their cellular data and create a new Google account for the goal of downloading PUBG Mobile on the Canadian Google Play Store.

Somalia, Nigeria happier countries than Ghana
Norway, fellow former victor Denmark, Iceland and Switzerland were the other countries in the top five. The 10 happiest countries were also 10 of the top 11 spots in the rankings of immigrant happiness.

The game claims to support over 500 Android devices, as long as you have at least Android 5.1.1 or above and at 2 GB RAM. Once the installation starts, users can disable their VPN and switch their cellular data back on.

"This week we're celebrating yet another milestone for PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) on Xbox One: we have now passed 5M players!" PUBG and Fortnite are locked in competition in the Battle Royale genre, which is good for players, as the studios of both games are driven to keep them fresh.

Fortnite Mobile will feature cross-play between the PlayStation 4 and PC, with sign-ups for the waiting list of the iOS version still open.
