Titans agree to 4-year deal with RB Dion Lewis

Report Dolphins are one of many teams interested in Patriots RB Dion Lewis

The 49ers reportedly showed interest in Patriots free agent Dion Lewis but didn't end up landing the talented running back.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Lewis will sign a four-year deal with the team. The 5'8 tailback was part of a solid lineage of NFL-bound tailbacks at the University of Pittsburgh, but struggled to make an impact after being selected in the fifth round of the 2011 NFL Draft. Both are entering their second seasons. The Patriots signed Lewis to a two-year extension after just one month in New England. Before the tampering window opened, Florio reported that Lewis was in the market for a three-year deal in the neighborhood of $18 million.

He's the exact type of shifty, dual-threat back the Titans needed in the backfield alongside Henry.

Nevertheless, Lewis remains an intriguing free agent option for the Colts, and it's clear that adding another running back to at least platoon with Mack is on the franchise's offseason agenda-if not become the featured back.

Vascular Biogen. Ord (VBLT) and Marathon Patent Grou (MARA) Under Limelight
According to analysts Marathon Patent Grou (NASDAQ: MARA)'s minimum EPS for the current quarter is at $0 and can go high up to $0. Moving averages can help smooth out these erratic movements by removing day-to-day fluctuations and make trends easier to spot.

Lewis made the 2015 Patriots opening day roster as the starting running back and impressed the world in his first game action since 2012.

The Patriots have James White, Mike Gillislee, and Brandon Bolden at running back.

While losing a step is a concern with any back, his ability to run through contact and gain yards after breaking tackles suggests he'll be more effective than his 195-pound frame suggests should he begin to slow down.
