Toys R Us is going out of business, closing all stores

The already-bleak situation for the Toys R Us retail chain is getting grimmer amid reports the company is preparing to shut down all of its remaining stores.

Toys R Us has been struggling for months to stay in business and now multiple reports suggest the toy retailer could be calling it quits. Company executives have said those stores would begin liquidating inventory in February and be closed by mid-April.

The rumors of liquidation are still unconfirmed but anonymous sources have given confirmation to several news organizations like USA Today, and The Wall Street Journal. Fifteen locations in NY were on the list of planned closures, including a Babies R Us in Latham and a Toys R Us in Glens Falls, which were to start in February and continue through mid-April.

Trey Burton to sign with Bears
In two seasons with the Eagles, Burton was a reliable and productive option teaming up with No. 1 tight end Zach Ertz . Last season he caught fewer passes - 23 receptions for 238 yards - but hauled in 5 touchdown passes.

Earlier in 2018, the company announced it would close about 180 stores as part of its bankruptcy restructuring, which included Babies R Us stores. Payless ShoeSource, JC Penny, Macy's, and Radio Shack all had to close down several locations a year ago.

Toys R Us has not spoken publicly about closing all its USA stores, and a spokeswoman declined to comment on that possibility.

"To our loyal customers: We've seen an fantastic outpouring of love and support in recent days and we truly appreciate it", the company tweeted Friday.
