The company had also made changes to Tweetdeck and its API last month in a bid to " limit the ability of users to perform coordinated actions across multiple accounts". In a further push to stop tweetdeckers, Twitter has reportedly banned a number of accounts that have been known for mass-retweeting or copying and spreading each others tweets.

Further the report clarifies that numerous suspended accounts have got a number of followers, and the number of the followers is quite high and reaches in hundreds and thousands even some accounts have followers in millions.

Buzzfeed reported that numerous suspended accounts includes @Dory, @GirlPosts, @SoDamnTrue, @reiatabie, @commonwhitegiri, @teenagernotes, @finah, @holyfag, and @memeprovider.

Engadget reports that while it's not certain if the suspensions are permanent, the accounts were suspended for violating spam policies that forbid mass duplication and impersonation.
