Kashmir student protests: Bukhari orders closure of tuition centres for 3 months

Bukhari, however, termed the use of pellets against students as "unjustified".

He said it is odd that on one hand the Education Minister appeals students to return to class work but on the other hand issues orders depriving them of using coaching centers to improve their talent and skill. "If they do any damage to properties in educational institutes, they will be dealt with as per rule of law", he said.

"After the Kathua incident, we gave the students a chance to vent their emotions".

The Minister appealed the students to join their schools and colleges and resume their class work.

"All the private coaching centres will remain closed for the next 90 days and the directions about the same should go to all concerned district administrations as well", he reportedly said.

Andres Iniesta, a gift that keeps on giving Video
However, domestically Barcelona have dominated and will be looking to add La Liga along with the Copa del Rey this season. Philippe Coutinho set up Suarez for the opening goal in the 14th minute and Barcelona dominated the rest of the game.

Even though no reason was given for the decision, the development comes just a day after the Education Minister warned of strict action if the student protests didn't end.

The Minister said unfortunately education has become the biggest casualty of the prevailing situation in Kashmir and "it is our collective responsibility to think over the bad consequences of the loss of education of our children".

Bukhari said that every right-thinking person in Kashmir including those with differing political ideologies will have to seriously think over this grave issue, before it is too late to recoup the loss. He said, "It is our collective responsibility to think over the awful consequences of the loss of education of our children". Govt. needs to be reminded that students are not rowdies and such words don't suit the stature of education minister. "Rather seeking co-operation from students, parents and the society to ensure functioning of institutions Govt. has issued a dictatorial order and if implemented will have dire consequences on the future of Kashmiri children". Er. He said proper counselling could surely help the students towards a better future.

"It is as important for society to have schools open as it is for the government".
