Amazon Prime members to get extra discount at Whole Foods

Amazon Ramps up Prime Perks at Whole Foods

Amazon, which purchased Whole Foods a year ago, is offering its Prime members an additional 10% off sale items when they shop at Whole Foods. The program is going to extend nationwide this summer. "Ours vision is thatevery day Prime makes your life better, easier and more fun, and shopping at Whole Foods Market with exclusive deals and savings is all of this and more". That will create a code on their phone that the Whole Foods cashier can scan at checkout.

Items eligible for additional Prime member discounts will be designated by special signs in Whole Foods stores.

Amazon has fired another shot across the supermarket industry's bow.

"There have been gradual steps towards integrating Amazon and Whole Foods".

Tenacious D Announces 2018 Fall Tour
The promo then teases a new studio album "probably" in 2018, while there is definitely a tour that will happen later this year. Because not only have fans been waiting for a new Tenacious D album since 2012's Rize of the Fenix , but also the rent is due.

Amazon now has more than 100 million Prime members. While Hetu expects a relatively high proportion of Whole Foods shoppers are Prime members, it's not clear the reverse is true. "Well they are, if they only buy the handful of good deals on the card and nothing else", said David Livingston of DJL Research, a grocery industry market research firm.

In addition, the company said Prime members will get an additional 10 percent off hundreds of sale items at Whole Foods Stores. Earlier this year, Amazon launched free, two-hour delivery on Whole Foods groceries through its Prime Now service in 10 cities.

Amazon Prime Vice President Cem Sibay said Florida was chosen as the first state for new the Prime program because Whole Foods has a large presence in the Sunshine State, with 28 stores, including 11 in Broward and Miami-Dade South Florida.
