Naked Passenger 'Yelling and Waving' On Alaska Airlines Plane Detained

Naked passenger rampages the corridor on Alaska Airlines flight 1552018

A Monday flight from Seattle to Anchorage, Alaska, caused a stir due to weird behavior by one passenger.

The passenger, who remained anonymous, was reportedly running around inside the flight about 20 minutes before landing. He was then transported to a hospital, the company said.

Johnny Ellis tweeted about what he saw as the plane was approaching Anchorage, according to the Associated Press.

'Two big guys, maybe one Air Marshall, tackled him and locked him in the bathroom.

Gold country Airlines spokeswoman Bobbie Egan said in an announcement Monday night that Alaska Airlines flight 107 from Seattle arrived without occurrence in Anchorage.

In February, an Alaska Airlines flight made an unscheduled landing after a naked passenger locked himself in the bathroom on a flight from Seattle to Anchorage. Without much elaboration, they just mentioned that a male passenger, who caused disruption in the aircraft shortly before the boarding, was detained at the airport.

'Police boarded to take naked guy away. We thought drugs not booze. However, Ellis also notes that the man may have been having a psychotic episode because "some said [that one of the guys] who chased and tackled him was actually his father". The plane was scheduled to fly from Anchorage to Seattle but had to circle back after flight attendants discovered the passenger in the bathroom. "Cpt extra nice 2 passengers".

Yahoo writer Daniel Roberts was also on the flight and described a similar scene as well as the reaction from fellow passengers.
