If bikers and drivers follow these rules we can all safely share the road.

"All cyclists are welcome to join us - it's a slow-paced ride as we'll be riding between 12 and 15 kilometres per hour, so you don't have to be an expert cyclist to come along and enjoy the ride".

Now in its 14th year in Philadelphia, the Ride of Silence occurs in more than 350 cities and towns across the county and in 18 countries around the world.

2 and 7 p.m.at Regal Elmwood (2001 Elmwood Ave.) and Transit Regal (6707 Transit Road, Clarence).

In honor of those not with us - friends, mothers, fathers, sisters and sons.

It's accidents like theirs that are on the minds of the cyclists during Wednesday's ride.
