TN Class 12 state board results out, overall pass percentage drops slightly
The board has uploaded the results on its official website around 9.30 am. Later, after Independence, it was formed in 1978 as a separate department to monitor and regulate secondary school education in the state and to conduct yearly examinations to evaluate the academic performance of students through Tamil Nadu 12th Board Examination and Tamil Nadu 10th Board Examination. Tamil Nadu education minister KA Sengottaiyan said, "Action will be taken against schools which try to promote admissions by publishing rank lists".
The results for the exams that were held in March, i.e. TN HSC 12th exam results 2018, will be released at 10 am on Wednesday.
In 2016, we had seen an increase in pass percentage of 91.4% with girls securing 94.4% pass percentage and boys getting 87.9% among the 8,33,682 students.
This year, around 907620 registered for the Tamil Nadu HSC +2 Examinations 2018, out of which 860434 appeared for the examinations. A total of 231 students have scored above 1180, out of which 50 are boys and 181 are girls. The result will be online in a short time.
Students after registering the roll number and date of birth can download their results from these websites.

TNBSE board conducts exams for Board of Secondary Education (SSLC) and Board of Higher Secondary Examinations (HSC). Just like other boards, Tamil Nadu Board too made sure unfair means weren't used during examination and hence flying squads visited the centres to ensure the same.
