An under construction flyover near the Cantonment railway station here collapsed killing 18 people and trapping around 50 people under the debris.

The Congress tweeted to say, "We are deeply saddened by the news of the collapse of an under construction flyover in Varanasi". Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya rushed to the spot, an official spokesperson said.
