The opera singer - who won America's Got Talent in 2008 - has died from heart failure, according to a Monday report from TMZ.

The 42-year-old was found dead at his mother's house in his hometown of Sikeston, Missouri. He had been suffering from numerous ongoing medical issues tied to his weight. He was in heart failure, kidney failure, and had liver disease.

No autopsy was done, according to the county coroner.

During the incident a year ago in Scott County, Missouri, the "AGT" winner's auto went off the side of the road, into a tree, airborne and then into another tree.

Boyd released two albums following his AGT victory, My American Dream in 2009 and My Christmas Wish in 2013.

He also told the outlet that he was planning on releasing new music, an album called In the Middle of it All, in 2019, adding that it was "uplifting". No word yet on whether he completed that record before his death.
