BSF jawans raise anti-Pakistan slogans at wreath-laying ceremony of colleagues

Pakistan rejects India's claim over Held Kashmir

Jammu: BSF personnel raised anti-Pakistan slogans on Wednesday while paying tributes to four of their colleagues killed in firing by Pakistani troops along the International Border (IB) in Jammu and Kashmir last night. Four BSF soldiers were grievously injured in the attack.

"Retaliating this unprovoked fire, Jitender Singh, Assistant Commandant, SI Rajneesh, ASI Ramniwas, Constable Hansraj attained martyrdom". The ceasefire announcements were made, the decisions were taken.

Pakistan Rangers usually offer a chaddar and candies on behalf of the people of Pakistan and BSF in turn gives them "shakkar" (holy soil) and sherbet from the shrine, which many believe, cures skin related ailments. "The injured BSF personnel have been identified as sub-inspector Zental Sil and constables Sujan Dass and Vikas Kumar", the source said, adding that intermittent firing was on till 4.30 pm. Sub Inspector Rajneesh Kumar, who was born in 1986 and joined BSF in 2012 hails from Etah in UP. Fifty two people including 26 security personnel have been killed on the LoC and global border in Jammu region this year so far.

During unprovoked cross-border firing by Pakistan, four fearless jawans laid down their lives while defending the sanctity of the country, a BSF spokesman said.

Two days after that, an elderly woman and a minor girl were killed and 24 others were injured in heavy mortar shelling along the Working Boundary in Sialkot district. "Dialogue between Pakistan and India over Kashmir should also resume, so that the long-festering Kashmir dispute is resolved in accordance with United Nations resolutions", he further said in the concluding tweet. There has been over 1,200 incidents of ceasefire violation.

The Last of Us Part 2: watch 12 minutes of intense gameplay
The title was announced earlier today, but now we've gotten an actual look at the game...12 straight minutes of it, to be exact. They engage in a tender kiss which transitions to a scene of Ellie plunging a knife into a guy's throat.

J&K witnessed over 700 ceasefire violations this year, starting from January.

Last month, thousands of people residing along the IB in Jammu, Kathua and Samba districts had to flee their homes following intense shelling from Pakistan between May 15 and May 23 which left 12 people dead, including two BSF jawans and an infant, and scores of others injured.

After the DGMOs of the two countries spoke to each other, hope rekindled among border residents who had started returning to their homes but the latest incident triggered fresh concerns among them.

The BSF-Pak Rangers Sector Commander level meeting was held on global border opposite the Border Outpost Octroi on June 5.

Prior to it, the DGMO of Pakistan called up his Indian counterpart to stop retaliatory firing by the BSF and restore peace in the volatile border.
