E3 2018: Beyond Good and Evil 2 Cinematic, And Trailer Breakdown

Above Beyond Good & Evil 2’s ship comes

There was also a cinematic trailer, showcasing life aboard the ship of Beyond Good and Evil 2, as well as announcing the return (arrival?) of Jade, the protagonist from the first game.

We also get to see the logo of the Space Monkey program, an aerial fight, a look at a group of enemies, and a group image with numerous characters.

During Ubisoft's E3 2018 press conference tonight, Beyond Good and Evil 2 got a new CGI story trailer, and it contained a bunch or really interesting lore tidbits that have interesting implications for the plot of the prequel. It all looks awesome. The noxious chef turns out to be none other than Pey'j, your porcine pal from Beyond Good and Evil.

IHOb: International House of Burgers
Everyone's default theory was that the "B" didn't stand for a particular dish at all, but instead to "Breakfast". While many fans were totally on board with new burgers being added to the menu , a few others weren't so sure.

After showing some pre-alpha gameplay footage you could see if you squinted, Ubisoft announced the game would be partnering with actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt's company HitRecord - which creates unique pieces of art through collaboration online.

At this point, it's unclear just how Pey'j and Jade tie into Beyond Good and Evil 2's storyline. This is all being fascilitated through Ubisoft's Space Monkeys community program. "There are lots of legends in the universe of Beyond Good and Evil 2 about this young girl slaying pirates - hunting down pirates in this universe - so everybody's afraid of that young girl", says associate creative director Emile Morel. Jade is featured in the game as shown in the above trailer, though her exact role in the game hasn't been revealed yet.
