Elon Musk's Boring Company Releases Its 'Not-A-Flamethrower'

Flame on! Elon Musk says Boring Company delivers its first ‘Not-a-Flamethrowers’

The devices, priced at Dollars 500 (approximately Rs 33,700) apiece, are being marketed and sold through Musk's other company, The Boring Company, which was set up in order to set up a subterranean transit network under Los Angeles to beat the city's endless traffic. Fact is, Tesla CEO Elon Musk promised both and this weekend he delivered on his promisedpersonal flamethrowers.

Musk initially floated the idea of selling flamethrowers to help fund his infrastructure tunneling company, which many took as a joke.

The 20,000 TBC Flamethrowers sold out quickly for $500 each.

Elon Musk's tunnel startup The Boring Company began distributing its first 1,000 personal flamethrowers to buyers over the weekend in Southern California. Instead, they work more like large propane blowtorches.

As the promotional device started to land with customers, Musk posted a safety warning to customers on Twitter, stating: 'Please use as directed to avoid unintentionally burning things down. Don't worry if you can't make it; all Not-a-Flamethrowers will ship out this summer!

Assassin's Creed Odyssey releases on October 5th, gets first official gameplay trailer
From the video footage, we can tell the game will have explorable underwater locations along with the potential for naval battles. Instead of scaling pyramids, though, you'll be scaling Greek statues in places like Delos, Athens, and Sparta.

The fire-breathing device comes packaged with a rhyming set of terms and conditions that nods to the classic Dr. Seuss book "Green Eggs and Ham".

The sale of the flamethrowers netted the Boring Company $10 million.

The hot ticket items also come with a 10-page manual including other sensible tips such as not pointing the Not-A-Flamethrower at your face, people, animals, or flammable objects, and not to touch the nozzle during or after use. The tech billionaire shared pictures of distributing his most popular (and most controversial to date) fundraising technique for the Boring Company today via his Twitter.

One customer tweeted a picture of himself posing joyfully in front of the company's logo, clutching a flamethrower that had just belched a fireball. The electric sled would allow for cars to be transported at 150 miles per hour through the tunnel, Musk has said.
