Multi-Million Lottery Winner Shows Up In Emoji Mask To Hide Identity

Lotto winner

Simone Clarke-Cooper, Supreme Ventures Super Lotto assistant vice-president of group corporate communications, said winners were always concealing their identities in the Caribbean country.

N Gray, who won 180 million Jamaican dollars as part of the Super Lotto jackpot on May 11, yesterday collected her cheque wearing a brilliant disguise - an emoji mask. During the ceremony held by the lottery organization, she showed up to greet the press with her face covered in a bright yellow emoji mask and a wig.

"This is genius", one wrote, describing her as a "smart woman".

Supreme Ventures posted photos from the press conference to Twitter, where they quickly went viral. "We are not going to tell them not to do that because their safety is of paramount importance to us as well".

Lottery winners are usually soft targets for robbers as they usually have their faces plastered everywhere due to the ludicrous amounts they end up winning.

"I am elated because I was drowning in debt", Gray said.

Many on social media suggested the expression of the mask most likely matched hers underneath.

It is reported that before she won, Gray was swimming in debt.

She also plans to invest some of it and treat herself to some travel.

Lottery victor N Gray showed up wearing an emoji mask to collect her winnings.

The victor, identified only as N. Gray, showed up for a press conference with Super Lotto organizer Supreme Ventures Ltd. wearing the emoji mask to maintain her anonymity.
