Neymar Suffers Fresh Injury Blow As He Limps Out Of Brazil Training

Brazil midfielder Fred

Brazil is coming off a 1-1 draw with Switzerland in its opening match of the 2018 World Cup. A team spokesman said the forward would have treatment for the rest of the day and train normally on Wednesday before Brazil head to St Petersburg for the Costa Rica match. Video at training captured the incident, which appeared to come in a routine exercise with his teammates.

PSG's star forward arrived in Russian Federation after several months recovering from a fracture in the fifth metatarsal of his right foot, an injury picked up in February.

Brazil's squad will be considered failures should they not claim their sixth World Cup title in Russian Federation, according to the legendary Rivaldo. "He will be fresh, we are a little concerned that he hasn't played some games in the last few months, but Neymar is so talented he knows to handle the situation".

On Sunday, Brazil drew 1-1 with Switzerland, with Neymar playing the whole match for the first time having been sidelined for nearly three months with a foot injury, which required surgery.

Ted Cruz to Introduce Bill to End Family Separation
Beto O'Rourke of El Paso, spent part of the weekend demonstrating near a tent city in Tornillo, outside of El Paso. Ted Cruz announced legislation Monday aimed at keeping together families who cross the border illegally.

Most of the players who started against Switzerland only did light jogging on Monday, so Neymar's departure on Tuesday is of greater concern. This was a recovery session for the starters.

Whether this limits his participation against Costa Rica remains to be seen.

The injury ended the 26-year-old's season and saw him battle to be fit in time for the World Cup.

His return was a huge boost for the five-time world champions coming into the tournament, even if his performance on Sunday suggested that he is still some way short of his best form. "He is a very important player for us".
