Emergency officials have confirmed that he has been rushed to hospital. A gunman allegedly ran up to XXXTentacion's vehicle and fired several shots at him.

Onfroy was awaiting trial for a 2016 domestic-abuse case, where he was facing charges of aggravated battery of his pregnant girlfriend, domestic battery by strangulation, false imprisonment, and witness tampering. XXX was on house arrest but the judge recently let him out so he could tour. Just hours before the shooting, he uploaded a post to his Instagram story, writing, "planning a charity event for this weekend Florida!"

Despite his legal troubles, XXX has found success in the entertainment industry with his last album debuting at #1.
