Robert De Niro bleeped at Tony Awards for Pres. Trump F-bomb

"It's F*** Trump!" De Niro added. While this shocked many, the crowd at the do have gone insane.

Robert De Niro isn't one to mince his words when talking about Donald Trump and Sunday night was no different, as he took the stage at the 2018 Tony Awards to have his say.

Although most of the speakers at the Tony Awards avoided mentioning Trump by name, many sporting "Times Up" pins and highlighting left-leaning organizations like the American Civil Liberties Union. "It's no longer 'down with Trump.' It's f-k Trump!"

De Niro received a mixture of astonished gasps, laughter, and a standing ovation after his short speech, according to Deadline.

The national television audience did not hear what Mr. De Niro said, as the censors immediately bleeped out the curses.

The big winners at this year's Tonys - hosted by Josh Groban and Sara Bareilles - was new Broadway musical "The Band's Visit", scooping 10 prizes, including beating "Spongebob Squarepants", "Mean Girls" and "Frozen" in the Best Musical category.

De Niro has been an outspoken critic of Trump, even saying in May he barred the president from visiting any locations of his swanky restaurant, Nobu.

He has played Special Counsel Robert Mueller on "SNL" recently in skits mocking Trump (played by Alec Baldwin).
