Spurs rumor: Gregg Popovich may not coach past 2020

6 NBA players already recruiting Le Bron James on social media

The Lakers have Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram and Kyle Kuzma as talented young players to dangle on the trade market.

As speculation about Kawhi Leonard's future with the Spurs continues to heat up, some more information regarding interest in the forward was revealed on Thursday (AEST).

The 26 year-old two-way force is eligible to sign a hefty max contract worth more than $200 million this summer.

The superstar played in only nine games this season as he recovered from a quadriceps injury, and his relationship with the franchise was clearly strained-so much so that league experts have speculated his time with San Antonio could be up.

Enter: the Boston Celtics.

Inflation drops for 16th consecutive month to 11.61%
The Retail Prices Index (RPI), a separate measure on inflation, was 3.3 per cent last month, down from 3.4 per cent in April. The RBI in its bid to tighten inflation , increased repo rate last week, for the first time in more than four years.

His relationship with the team has been strained, though a number of unidentified sources reportedly claim he has expressed interest in staying in San Antonio.

According to 'King James Gospel, ' the Cleveland Cavaliers may consider trading Kevin Love and the No. 8 pick in the 2018 NBA Draft to the San Antonio Spurs for Kawhi Leonard. So far this spring, the Spurs remain resistant to trades. There's no guarantee Leonard will requalify for the supermax (he would have to make an All-NBA team or win MVP/Defensive Player of the Year) or still accept it next summer when he can opt out of the final year of his deal to become an unrestricted free agent.

The tension surrounding the situation intensified when, after opting to not be with the team for rehab reasons, Leonard was spotted three weeks later attending a Dodgers game in Los Angeles.

When healthy, Leonard is a no-doubt top-five player, and it's no wonder opportunistic teams like the Celtics are looking to swoop in and nab the former Finals MVP.

"What Leonard's gonna have to do is really convey to Popovich that he is invested in the Spurs organization and that he wants to be a part of it", Wojnarowski reported.
