Trainers, start trading! Friends and gifts system released for Pokemon Go

Boosting your Pokemon Go Friends level comes with a lot of benefits

Pokemon Go also slowly eased players into Raids, starting with high level players and then slowly enabling the feature for lower level players. The company has announced on its website that Pokemon GO will soon be getting trading and a friends list feature.

Only Great Friends and above can trade legendary Pokemon and shiny Pokemon, Polygon reported. Niantic typically does this for all the new features it adds to Pokemon GO, as both a way to reward those who are most dedicated to the popular mobile game, and to better test features before they're available to everyone.

A gradual rollout of a new feature is standard practice in the gaming industry, since it puts less stress on the servers and allows Niantic to deal with any issues that crop up.

Five seconds is nothing". "You try a little bit too much here and there and you lose the tyre, the auto , and then it slides". On seeing a video recording of the incident, he said: "He took him right out -- ah, man, that's insane ".

Screenshots available publicly on Twitter also clarify what trainer codes will look like, which are needed to add friends. For example, players will start earning gifts from PokeStops that can be sent to friends as a way to increase their friendship level. The friendship level can build over time based on how often you and your friend trade with each other.

The trading feature itself isn't meant to be easy.

The friends feature should add an extra layer of gameplay to Pokemon GO, and ultimately, it will help players better complete their Pokedex. Depending on the friendship level, trades cost more or less stardust. For right now, we're unsure where what the level range will be; as it changes, we'll update this story. Since the game's launch, stardust has been used to power up different Pokemon. "I hope we came up with something that's natural and enjoyable".
