The film is due to be released in December, but it was only until the cast appeared at a San Diego Comic-Con panel on Saturday that the trailer was finally revealed. Jason Momoa stars as Aquaman, with Amber Heard, Nicole Kidman, Randall Park, Patrick Wilson, Dolph Lundgren, Willem Dafoe, Graham McTavish, Temuera Morrison, Michael Beach, Ludi Lin, and featuring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta.

It tells the origin story of Aquaman - a half human, half-Atlantean named Arthur Curry (Momoa).

We've already met Jason Momoa's Arthur Curry, AKA Aquaman via his blink-and-miss-it cameo in Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice and his bigger, but hardly starring role in Justice League.

But now at the Warner panel in Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con the first trailer for Shazam! has arrived and it's kind of a delight. The Shazam! panel kept the WB train rolling on, with Zachary Levi , Asher Angel , Jack Dylan Grazer , and director David F.

Wan's team behind the scenes includes such frequent collaborators as Oscar-nominated director of photography Don Burgess ("The Conjuring 2", "Forrest Gump"), his five-time editor Kirk Morri ("The Conjuring" films, "Furious 7", the "Insidious" films), and production designer Bill Brzeski ("Furious 7"). There, the studio is expected to launch sneak peeks at the studio's next crop of DC Extended Universe films with Wonder Woman 1984, Shazam! and, of course, the highly-anticipated Aquaman.

Aquaman is set to be released in United Kingdom cinemas on release in cinemas on December 14, 2018. Pictures, a Warner Bros.
