Charges against Stormy Daniels dropped after Thursday morning arrest

United States President Donald Trump and adult film actress Stormy Daniels

Stormy Daniels has been arrested in OH while performing a strip show at Sirens Gentleman's Club in Columbus.

Her attorney, Michael Avenatti, took to Twitter immediately to rail against the whole thing, calling the arrest a "setup" and saying it was "politically motivated". Two other people were arrested at the club, but it is unclear who they were. He vowed to fight the "bogus charges", even suggesting there are "higher priorities" at stake for the police. She was charged under an OH law that makes it illegal for "an employee who regularly appears nude or seminude" to touch non-family members "on the premises of a sexually oriented business".

Clifford's arraignment had been scheduled for Friday morning, Avenatti said.

Daniels later announced that a follow-up performance at the same club on Thursday - initially cancelled - would go ahead after all.

'This was a setup and politically motivated. The Associated Press reports that the 2007 law was introduced by a conservative religious group, but some say it has seldom been enforced.

Daniels was released from jail after posting $6,000 bail.

Jabari Parker Has Interest In Signing With Bulls
Parker, 23, has played his entire career thus far with the Milwaukee Bucks but could switch teams this offseason. The Bulls are on the verge of signing Simeon product and Bucks forward Jabari Parker , a source confirmed.

Police approached Daniels, who was topless and wearing a G-string, after she was seen "using her bare breasts to smack the patrons" and "fondling the breasts of the female patrons", according to an incident report published online by a local news outlet.

Messages were left with the Columbus city prosecutor's office seeking comment.

A fourth officer then exited the club to request assistance to make an arrest.

"They placed undercover officers in the strip club where they hoped they would be able to arrest my client", Avenatti said in a phone call. After Stormy's performance, she and the other 2 were arrested at the same time. Her initial lawsuit against Trump was for not signing their initial "hush agreement", and she insisted she only wanted to speak out about her affair, and so was attempting to find a way that would legally protect her in doing so.

Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, was arrested by Columbus Police. Trump has denied the accusation.

Earlier this week, Daniels performed in Washington, D.C., at the Cloakroom, minutes before President Donald Trump announced his Supreme Court nomination.
