George Clooney has been rushed to hospital after a motorbike crash.

According to the site, George was said to be hit by a vehicle which suddenly changed direction at a spot close to a hotel. Police said they have no information, but the hospital apparently told NBC News Clooney has already been discharged.

Amal, 40, and George, along with their one-year-old twins, are now living in Sardinia for the summer, where he is filming his new TV series, Catch 22. The star shares two children, Ella and Alexander, with his wife, Amal Clooney, and fans caught a rare glimpse of the adorable twins as the family disembarked from their private jet, with George holding one of the babies while holding onto a musical storybook, while Amal cradled the other child.

Sardinia is a large Italian island in the Mediterranean Sea and is over 500 miles from Clooney's villa in Lake Como. The Hulu show, based on the Joseph Heller novel, will also star Hugh Laurie and Kyle Chandler.
