Rahul's scores of 70, 101 not out, six and 19 have made him India's highest-ranked batsman.

India's World Cup victor Roger Binny, Pakistani pacer Umar Gul and the Bangladeshi pair of Soumya Sarkar and Enamul Haque Jrare other four players who have been dismissed on diamond ducks, but they had made their worldwide debuts in some other format previously.

The latest rankings, which also take into account India's 2-0 and 2-1 series win against Ireland and England, respectively, Finch leads Pakistan's left-handed opener Fakhar Zaman by 45 points.

Australia's climb up the Twenty20 rankings has been halted by a red-hot Pakistan, losing their tri-series final in Zimbabwe by six wickets.

Finch, the captain of the Australia T20I side, also had a remarkable run during the tournament in Zimbabwe, scoring 68*, 172 - a world record in the format - 16, 3 and 47.

Zaman, who scored a career-best of 91 to help Pakistan clinch the tri-series final against Australia, bumped up 44 places on the table on the back of a stellar tournament where he also had scores of 61, 6, 47 and 73.

Pakistan squad: Sarfraz Ahmed (c), Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Hafeez, Shoaib Malik, Asif Ali, Hussain Talat, Haris Sohail, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Nawaz, Faheem Ashraf, Hasan Ali, Mohammad Amir, Usman Khan Shinwari, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Sahibzada Farhan.

Pakistan will now be heading into a five-match one day global series against Zimbabwe, slated to begin from July 13.

Injured Babar Azam, Colin Munro and Glenn Maxwell all moved down, occupying the three spots below Finch, Zaman and Rahul, while further down on the list, there were more such interesting changes. D'Arcy Short, despite having an inconsistent run in Zimbabwe, moved into the top-10 for the first time. England, who now occupy the fourth spot are only three points ahead of West Indies, who are in seventh. Following that there will be a one-off T20I between Sri Lanka and South Africa as the standings look set to remain the same for a while with the top sides, not in action.
