Kimberley Guilfoyle, Former First Lady of S.F., Leaves Fox News

Fox News confirms Kimberly Guilfoyle departure in a surprising statement

It's unclear how the network will handle Guilfoyle's departure after she spent over a decade there.

It's not yet clear when she plans on leaving Fox News. Howard Kurtz, who covers the media industry for Fox News, tweeted that the short statement suggested to him that it was "a hard parting".

Her romance with Donald Trump Jr. might be heating up, but her FOX News family gave her a frosty send-off Friday.

She joined the network 2006, and served as a host on a series of shows, from Outnumbered to, most recently, The Five.

They took their relationship public in late June, with Guilfoyle posting a steady supply of cozy couple pics on Instagram ever since. She was at a campaign event this week.

She said in a recent Breitbart Radio interview that she believes Don Jr.is the future of the Republican party and that she "finally got it right" with her new beau.

News of Guilfoyle's departure from Fox News was first reported on Twitter by Vanity Fair reporter Gabe Sherman.

Guilfoyle, 49, is reportedly a favorite of President Trump's.

Amid rumors that Guilfoyle would replace former White House press secretary Sean Spicer last year, she signed a multi-year contract with the network.

According to The Hill, it is likely Guilfoyle will join a pro-Trump super PAC called America First.

Neither Guilfoyle, a Fox News spokesperson, or a spokesperson for America First Policies immediately responded to requests for comment Friday morning.
