LeBron James Sells Movie Script, Might Star In It

Roundup The NBA Helped England's Soccer Team Marvin Bagley Injury Ends His Summer League & Will Le Bron Bike to the Lakers Training Facility

The LeBron James mural outside of Baby Blues BBQ in Venice, California won't be vandalized again.

Undeterred, Never painted over the vandalism and tried to modify his message by removing the "of" from "the King of LA", making it less a declaration of James's status in his new digs and more a nod to his nickname. The mural - "The King of LA" - is gone.

It appears LeBron James is wasting no time in taking advantage of the perks of his landing spot with the Los Angeles Lakers. The artwork (located in Venice, California) even has the title "The King of L.A." inscribed - a lofty title given that the decorated National Basketball Association veteran and future Hall of Famer has never played a single minute for the Purple and Gold yet.

If this is a body-swap comedy, Kevin Hart seems like the heavy favorite to be the star opposite LeBron, as that seems to be the most logical "what would be funny" low-hanging fruit, considering the considerable size difference between Hart and James. Never worked with graffiti specialist Fernando Valdez.

'I got a ton of support, ' Never said. "[Some] people didn't like it in general; not necessarily the work, but the sentiment that went with it. People had a big problem with the word 'of.' I get where they are coming from".

See how fans celebrated Croatia's World Cup semifinal win in Zagreb
He said the players were " absolutely gutted " but the fans' reaction in the stadium after the game showed what they had achieved. Back then, a powerful West Germany team edged England in a penalty shootout after a 1-1 draw, and lifted the trophy days later.

With James signing a four-year, $153 million to play for the Lakers, the possibility existed that Never would be repairing the mural for the foreseeable future.

With that being the case, he thought it best just to whitewash the entire wall.

"I know when to cut my losses", Never said.

In addition to James, the Lakers bolstered their roster with the signings of JaVale McGee and Lance Stephenson, to go along with re-signing Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.
