Real Madrid Release Statement On Links With Neymar

Fiat workers livid over Juventus' blockbuster deal with Ronaldo

After 9 trophy-laden years at Real Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo has swapped Madrid for Turin and made a big money move to Juventus.

Juventus' stock price surged nearly 40 percent when the move was announced.

Speaking to calciomercato.it, former Juventus and Italy defender Alessio Tacchinardi analyses what may be the effect of the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo at Juventus on the Serie A.

But whiles many Juventus fans are over the moon with the capture of Ronaldo, it appears not everyone is happy with the deal.

The vehicle manufacturer Fiat, to which the brand Ferrari exclusively belongs, is reportedly 29.1 percent owned by the Agnelli family, who also hold about 63.77 percent of Juventus.

That's money that could have been used for job-boosting investments like making better cars, the union said.

Chelsea sack manager Antonio Conte after two years in charge
Sarri is a big fan of the striker, who played under him at Napoli, and Chelsea want to add more firepower to their squad. Conte's volcanic intensity also alienated some insiders, including leading players whose discontent filtered out.

The union urged Fiat owners to invest in its workforce to bolster the finances of "thousands of people instead of only one".

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has been approached for comment.

"It's unacceptable that, while FCA and CNHI workers continue to make huge economic sacrifices, the company spends hundreds of millions of euros on the purchase of a player", union USB Lavoro Privato said.

The strike is due to start Sunday night although USB is a minor union in Melfi where main auto union CGIL-Fiom told AFP it was "not interested" in downing tools.

Despite completing a domestic treble, he is rumoured to have already grown frustrated in Paris with a last-16 exit at the hands of Los Blancos prematurely ending the Ligue 1 club's hopes of winning the Champions League.
