Stormy Daniels arrested in OH while performing a strip show

Michael Avenatti Says Stormy Daniels Was Arrested While Performing at a Strip Club: ‘This Was a Setup’

OH law prohibits anyone who isn't a family member from touching a nude or semi-nude dancer.

Franklin County Municipal Court records reportedly show that she was released Thursday morning after posting a $6,054 bail. There has to be higher priorities! He was married to Melania Trump at the time and has denied Daniel's claim. We will fight all bogus charges. He said his client was "performing the same performance that she has conducted at over a hundred strip clubs around the country". Daniels was arrested by several Columbus police officers after she also allegedly fondled the breasts of female patrons and held the face of a female officer into her chest, WBNS-TV first reported.

He also questioned why law enforcement officers were using their resources for "sting operations" like this one.

When officers witnessed those activities, three detectives approached the stage.

"We are highly confident that in the unlikely event that the district attorney proceeds with charges that she will be found not guilty", Avenatti told The Post.

She fondled a third officer's buttocks and breasts, according to the documents.

Adult film star Stormy Daniels was arrested Thursday and charged with breaking a controversial and little-known OH state law called the Community Defense Act, which prohibits adult dancers from touching patrons and vice versa. Columbus Police confirmed to the Columbus Dispatch the law is rarely enforced in the state of OH despite being on the books for the past 11 years.

The Sirens Gentlemen's Club had posted on its website that Daniels was scheduled to perform there Wednesday and Thursday.

Avenatti issued a statement on her behalf saying that as a result, her performance at the jiggle joint Thursday night would be canceled.

Daniels has said she had sex with Trump in 2006 and that Trump's personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, paid her $130,000 to keep the encounter secret shortly before the presidential election.

Through White House officials, Trump has denied the affair, although Cohen has admitted paying Daniels $130,000 as part of the agreement.

Avenatti alleges the payment was a violation of campaign finance law and was created to suppress speech. Trump has said he personally reimbursed Cohen for that payment.
