Trump Holds Presser With British PM Theresa May Amid Tensions

The white paper, outlining proposals for the UK's stance with the European Union, is being regarded as signalling a "soft Brexit" which Trump had told the Sun could "kill" a free trade deal with the US.

Nigel Farage was questioned on whether he had "wound up" Mr Trump about Brexit on BBC's This Week and said: 'We've had the odd chat about it, I like to have a chat with them (Team Trump)'.

Trump's denial Friday echoed what the White House said late Thursday, when press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders offered this: "The president likes and respects Prime Minister May very much".

Mr Trump is due to meet Vladimir Putin, who has rejected the nerve agent claims, at a summit when he finishes his four-day visit to Britain.

He showered praise on the PM, describing her as an "incredible" leader who was "doing a fantastic job", adding that he had apologised for comments made to The Sun. "We wanted to embarrass him and I think we have done that today". However, under the blue skies of the Chequers' garden, he said their relationship was "the highest level of special".

When Mr Neil asked Mr Farage if the US President said anything "factually accurate" during his extraordinary North Atlantic Treaty Organisation press conference yesterday he responded: 'You need to always take Donald Trump seriously but not always literally. "I would have done it much differently".

Trump changed his position from the criticism in The Sun interview. I actually told Theresa May how to do it but she didn't agree, she didn't listen to me.

'Godzilla: King of Monsters' Director Reveals If Rodan Is Stronger Than Godzilla
In an interview with EW, Dougherty revealed a few more plot details about the movie, which picks up five years after Godzilla . Godzilla meets Ghidorah, and Mothra, and Rodan when Godzilla : King of the Monsters crashes into theaters next year.

"The Chequers agreement reached last week provides the platform for Donald and me to pursue an ambitious deal that works for both countries right across our economies", May said in defence of her controversial Brexit strategy. "We want to trade with the United Kingdom and the United Kingdom wants to trade with us".

"The reaffirmation of the British-U.S. relation we saw at the press conference will probably assuage some of the doubts we have seen about the status of the relationship", Parakilas said.

"They didn't put it in the headline, I wish they put that in the headline, that's one of those things".

Trump has also frequently angered British politicians and has been involved in social media spats with London's Muslim mayor Sadiq Khan who Trump said had "done a very bad job on terrorism".

Meanwhile, tens of thousands of protesters marched against the U.S. president through central London, bringing much of the capital to a standstill.

Arriving straight from a North Atlantic Treaty Organisation summit that was predictably contentious, the United States president has been greeted with massive protests on his first trip to London since taking office.

The president in the interview denied that he ever "said anything bad about" May in the interview after The Washington Post reported that he thinks the British leader is a "bossy schoolteacher".
