Trump's Military Parade Nov. 10 May Cost $12 Million

Trump's military parade: Everything we know about the Nov. 10 event

The parade is set to take place on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018, in Washington and will commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I. It was originally scheduled to coincide with the city's Veterans Day parade on Sunday, November 11.

The military parade President Trump requested to be held later this year in Washington, D.C., is initially estimated to cost $12 million, a USA official told Fox News on Wednesday. One official called the number "a planning figure", saying cost estimates could still change as planning develops.

Trump announced suspension of the war games shortly after his historic summit in Singapore with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un last month.

The Pentagon said the Freedom Guardian joint exercise originally schedule with Seoul next month would have cost the US about $14 million, according to CNN.

US Dollar reached at record high of Rs127.5 in the Interbank Market
Pakistani rupee once again depreciated against USA dollar by 40 paisa, just after the day dollar price augmented by Rs6. The devaluation of Pakistani Rupee threatens to squeeze people ahead of the Pakistan Election 2018 on July 25.

South Korean troops participate in a regular joint exercise with the USA military in Pohang in southeastern South Korea on April 5, 2018. According to a memo from Gen. Joseph Dunford, the parade will stretch from the White House to the Capitol and will feature "a heavy air component at the end of the parade".

The Pentagon is still planning the event, which Trump requested to run from the White House to Capitol Hill on November 11.

CNN was first to report the parade's estimated cost.

Trump has been wishing to stage a military parade in Washington ever since visiting France a year ago, where he attended Bastille Day celebrations and was feted with a military parade along the Champs-Élysées and dinner at the Eiffel Tower.
