WHERE ARE THEY Now? The 1998 World Cup Winning France Team

Pogba celebrates with Umtiti after defender's goal

France striker Antoine Griezmann has hit back after Belgium goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois' claims that Les Blues are an anti-football side after their World Cup semi-final clash. I don't care how, I want a second star to be on this shirt.

France forward Antoine Griezmann said Friday winning the World Cup against Croatia on Sunday was more important than how his team do it.

"It's just an anti-football team", Courtois was quoted as saying after the game.

After the match Courtois and fellow Belgium star Eden Hazard expressed their disappointment at how France had conducted themselves.

"I was top scorer but we lost, so I said to myself: "I am going to score less to see if we can win".

Alan Shearer explains difference between Paul Pogba with France and Man United
Pogba continued: "I know that sometimes you are doing good, sometimes you are doing bad, but that's how you grow. I wouldn't say that I'm young but I'm not old, yet, and we are going through nice things and want to finish it".

"My game is changing, now I am more likely to dictate the rhythm or hold onto the ball".

France have conceded four goals in six games en route to the final, three of which were scored by Argentina in a thrilling 4-3 victory in the round of 16.

"It will be useful for us on Sunday, even if I don't like to keep bringing up the past". The Atletico Madrid forward also mocked the style of football played by the Belgian football at Chelsea.

"We would like to host them and share with them the happiness of football, hoping that this can go some way to helping them after everything they've been through in the last few weeks".

"[In the 2016 Euros] we thought it was done and that we had won the trophy by beating Germany in the semi-finals".
