WWE Purposely Avoided Mentioning Brock Lesnar On Monday’s Raw

Daniel Cormier Yoel Romero

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Vince McMahon is adamant about making it look like Brock Lesnar has walked out on the company. Everyone tuning into this week's Raw expected some kind of reference to The Beast Incarnate after he hit the headlines over the weekend by seemingly challenging new UFC Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier. Mike Johnson from PWInsider reported that we might not see Lesnar for a while so a SummerSlam match is not guaranteed.

Strowman is more than likely going to become Universal Champion. What resulted was Lesnar hurling insults and UFC setting up their future championship match in a very pro wrestling-esque way.

Now, the idea is that the victor of the Roman Reigns vs. Bobby Lashley match will take on Lesnar at SummerSlam, and that is expected to be the former.

Later a multi-man number one contender's match was created but canceled when Lesnar's advocate Paul Heyman publicly disagreed with the notion that Lesnar would be competing against a wrestler of WWE's choice.

Trump rattles North Atlantic Treaty Organisation , knocking its value and assailing Germany
Germany spends 1.2 percent of its gross domestic product on defense, while the US spends 3.5 percent. First Lady Melania Trump attend the evening reception and dinner at the 2018 NATO Summit.

Lashley and Reigns appear to be the most likely candidates to face Lesnar at SummerSlam, though there's still speculation that Seth Rollins could have an outside shot due to being the hottest babyface name on Monday Night RAW.

Well, the UFC, WWE or someone has to figure out what's going on in Lesnar's mouth before any talks of a title fight move forward. So it doesn't make sense to be the G.O.A.T. right now. The hints were confirmed when UFC President Dana White was affirmative to the fact that DC will indeed face the current WWE Universal Champion Lesnar next for the Heavyweight strap.

Over the next couple of weeks as WWE sets itself up for SummerSlam and beyond, the Universal Championship picture could change for the first time in over a year.
