Chris Pratt-Starring Cowboy Ninja Viking On Indefinite Hold
Universal Pictures has taken the Chris Pratt-led tentpole, "Cowboy Ninja Viking", off its schedule and undated the movie, which was previously set to release on June 28, 2019.
The film was slated to be released on June 28, 2019, and production was supposed to begin from mid-September. It was adapted by Dan Mazeau ("Wrath of the Titans") and Ryan Engle ("The Commuter").
It looks like Cowboy Ninja Viking might not have the best luck getting to the big screen. It was being speculated that if the wedding with beau Nick Jonas is not the reason then Priyanka Chopra opted out of Salman Khan's Bharat and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Gangubai Kothewali, it must be Pratt's film. He already has Jurassic World with Universal, which released Fallen Kingdom this summer to huge box office numbers.

When the film might score another release date remains to be seen, but Universal certainly seems to think it'll still get made; just not yet. Pratt's character would have the skills of a cowboy, a ninja and a viking whilst others included Amish, Demo Expert, and Army Captain.
The Image Comics graphic novel is by AJ Lieberman and illustrator Riley Rossmo. With Cowboy Ninja Viking stalled for the time being, he is also waiting to hear who the new director of Guardians of the Galaxy 3 will be. Together they wrote in Gunn's defense, though the likelihood of Disney going back on its decision remains low. MacLaren and Pratt will still remain attached to the project, with Chopra staying on if the scheduling ultimately works out. This was before he was the [Cowboy Ninja Viking] we know. But turns out that will have to wait because the movie has been delayed indefinitely.
