The statement also claimed that Smith has "never been charged with an OVI or any other criminal offense" and that she made "concerted efforts to press charged of domestic abuse" against Zach Smith, a former wide receivers coach for the Buckeyes.

In wake of the allegations against Meyer, Ohio State has placed the head coach on paid administrative leave while they conduct their own investigation into the matter.

Zach Smith, the school's former wide receivers coach, was sacked July 23, days after Courtney filed for a protection order against him and hours after domestic abuse allegations from 2009 and 2015 were revealed.

Julia Leveridge released a statement Monday that read, in part, that "while The Ohio State University has never contracted Ms. Smith to discuss these allegations, she will fully cooperate with the university's current investigation".

Zach Smith was sacked July 23 after Courtney Smith was granted a protective order, and Courtney Smith has alleged that he abused her on multiple occasions, including in 2015.

Everton complete triple deal for Mina, Andre Gomes and Bernard

"Bring your signs, paint your face, do whatever youve got to do - we want to be heard, we want our coach back", Hamms said in a video posted Sunday to his Facebook account. "I said: 'That's fine, you should tell Urban".

Meyer initially denied that he knew anything about the 2015 accusation before issuing a statement Friday that reversed course.

OSU launched its probe after Courtney Smith, who divorced Zach Smith in 2016, reportedly provided evidence that she told Meyers wife at the time of Smiths alleged abuse in 2015. However, Meyer backtracked on the statement, and Smith revealed that Meyer was aware that police were investigating him for domestic assault in late October 2015.

Leveridge also said that Smith "received absolutely no compensation" for granting interviews to reporters.

Zach Smith told Columbus radio station 105.7 The Zone that Ohio State athletic director Gene Smith questioned him during the 2015 football season about the allegations made by Courtney Smith that fall.
