'Manhattan Madam' expected to appear before Mueller grand jury
An associate of longtime Donald Trump adviser Roger Stone refused to appear before a grand jury on Friday following a subpoena from US Special Counsel Robert Mueller and was found in contempt, the Washington Post reported.
An affiliate of Roger Stone has been held in contempt of court for his non-compliance with a subpoena that required him to testify before a grand jury.

Brad Pitt hits back at Jolie claims: 'I've given her millions'
The actress has not talked about money until a few weeks ago, when she requested more child support from her estranged husband. The court records show that in addition to the $8 million, Pitt gave Jolie over $1.3 million in just under two years.
Stone acknowledged that he was likely the unnamed USA official in the indictment, which listed messages exchanged with Guccifer 2.0, the identity United States investigators say was used by Russian hackers. He also served as an adviser to Donald Trump's 2016 presidential campaign, but left amid controversy in 2015. When she ran for governor in 2010, Stone ran her campaign. He asserted that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein did not have the authority to appoint Mueller to lead the investigation into Trump campaign contacts with Russian Federation. Trump has repeatedly said there was no collusion between his campaign and Russian Federation and has called Mueller's investigation a witch hunt.
In a related development, another Stone associate, comedian and talk show host Randy Credico confirmed that he had been subpoenaed by the special counsel's office, which is probing alleged Russian interference in the 2016 USA presidential election. Kamenar said his client planned to appeal the contempt ruling in hope that the U.S. Supreme Court will eventually hear the case.
Stone told CNN's Anderson Cooper earlier this week that he has not been contacted by the special counsel's office and said that while he "would not rule out cooperating", with the investigation, he would not testify against Trump. The statement from lawyer Grant Smith said the exchange "provides no evidence of collaboration or collusion with Guccifer 2.0 or anyone else in the alleged hacking of the DNC emails". "I am highly confident she will testify truthfully is called to do so".
