NASA is naming 8 astronauts to fly SpaceX and Boeing's new spaceships

NASA still hasn’t decided on a spacesuit for future missions, and it’s getting kind of silly

The goal: ensure NASA astronauts can access the International Space Station and end U.S. reliance on Russia's increasingly expensive Soyuz spaceships to get there.

Last month's problem with leaky rocket engine valves has forced Boeing to rearrange the sequence of tests for its Starliner space taxi, with the first crewed flight to the International Space Station now planned for no earlier than mid-2019.

Boeing has also developed a state-of-the-art spacecraft, the Crew Space Transportation (CST)-100 Starliner.

NASA astronauts will soon have some pretty comfortable seats when they fly the commercial spacecraft being built by SpaceX and Boeing. Under the Barack Obama administration, NASA's Earth Science program saw its biggest growth spurt, and this was because of climate change and the anthropogenic causes of climate change, according to the American Association for the Advancement of Science.

At one point last year, it was expected that it would have its first uncrewed test flight in June of this year, followed by a crewed flight this month. Coupled with the technical challenges inherent in any human spaceflight development program, the systems have been repeatedly delayed and NASA's dependence on Russian Federation extended.

Price Increase - HMNY will be increasing the price of MoviePass subscriptions from $9.95 per month to $14.95 per month. Abuse - The company also said that it plans on implementing additional tactics to prevent abuse of the service.

After successful completion of the flight tests with crew, NASA will review flight data to verify the systems meet the agency's safety and performance certification requirements and are ready to begin regular servicing missions to the space station. The uncrewed test flight will not take place before the end of 2018 or early 2019 and the crewed test flight in mid-2019. But the vast majority of Americans said government should play a major role in space exploration, while only 38 percent said the same for private-sector companies. His remarks were widely reported and Boeing spokeswoman Rebecca Regan confirmed the news via email to SpacePolicyOnline.com.

Meanwhile, Boeing plans to proceed with the unmanned flight test of one of its Starliners, known as Spacecraft 3, ahead of the launch abort test. With all this happening you might be thinking that astronaut wardrobe is the least of NASA's concerns, but you couldn't be more wrong. However, NASA indicated in April that it may "operationalize" the Boeing test flight and fly three, instead of two crew.

Friday's announcement will clarify who will fly on which spacecraft for the first human test flight and the first mission to the ISS.

John Mulholland, a Boeing vice president who's program manager for the CST-100 Starliner program, laid out the revised schedule today during a teleconference with journalists.

In light of Boeing's schedule adjustment, will that crew arrive on a Starliner or on SpaceX's Dragon spaceship?
