Nutella looking for 60 taste testers to work in Italy

If you're ok with moving to Italy you could be a taste-tester for Nutella

The job title, officially called "Sensory Judge", involves tasting a variety of ingredients including different types of cocoa and hazelnuts, as well as tasting the Nutella spread and other products.

Ferrero, the company who owns the signature hazelnut spread, is looking for people to try their delicious product.

According to The Local, it's the first time the company is specifically looking for non-professionals.

The job ad was published by Openjobmetis for Soremartec Italia, which is Ferrero's research and development company. It's a part-time position at its main offices in Alba, Italy. That's the area famed for its white truffles, not to mention Barolos, Barbarescos and other fine wines.

The 60 will take a paid three-month course, starting in September, to help them hone their sense of smell and taste and learn terminology to describe the flavors they're tasting. The training is created to sharpen the recruits' senses of taste and smell, as well as teach them the correct terminology to describe their reactions, The Local reported.

Travel + Leisure explains select candidates would be picked to work on a long-term basis for two days every week for two hours when the training program wraps up. Ferrero asks only that applicants suffer from no food allergies and feel comfortable using a computer.

No experience is required for the position.
