Browns surprisingly rule out star WR Josh Gordon vs. Saints

What Sean Payton Dennis Allen are saying about Browns before Week 2

The team announced Gordon's status on Saturday before flying to Louisiana.

Josh Gordon's troubled tenure with the Cleveland Browns has ended.

The Cleveland Browns created a stir on Saturday afternoon when ESPN insider Adam Schefter reported that star wide receiver Josh Gordon will be ruled out to play against the New Orleans Saints with a hamstring injury.

Tune in to see if the Browns can finally get that elusive first win since the 2016 season.

Israeli Military Preparing to Demolish Palestinian Village
Israel's Supreme Court last week rejected a petition by village residents to halt the demolition. Israel says Khan al-Ahmar was illegally built and in an unsafe location near a major highway.

Gordon battled a hamstring injury leading up to Week 1, ultimately suiting-up for his first opening-day in a Browns uniform since 2012.

The team provided no details behind their decision to part ways with Gordon.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport explained that Gordon reported to the team facility on Saturday with some hamstring soreness, and Browns medical staffers chose to keep him out of this week's game as a precaution. He did not play in any of the four preseason games. He missed three weeks of training camp this summer to undergo counseling and treatment, and he recently said he was in a good place mentally and physically.

Kirksey, who had been listed as questionable, will miss his first game after playing in 65 straight since being drafted third round in 2014. The receiver caught just one pass on three targets, but it was a 17-yard touchdown that tied the game with less than two minutes left in regulation. Jackson blamed Gordon's appearance on the first play to a "mistake" and "miscommunication".
