Cleveland Browns to sign rookie kicker Greg Joseph

Cleveland Browns lose again after Zane Gonzalez misses crucial kicks

Joseph spent Training Camp with the Miami Dolphins after signing as an undrafted free-agent out of Florida Atlantic University.

Zane Gonzalez was declared the victor of a Browns kicking competition against Ross Martin in the preseason, but likely out of a job after rough day in New Orleans.

Zane Gonzalez was attacked mercilessly on Twitter after the Cleveland Browns fell to 0-1-1 on Sunday, which is a surprise given the fact that he is not the Zane Gonzalez who missed two field goals and and a pair of extra points in Sunday's 21-18 loss to the New Orleans Saints.

It's common thought that "NFL" really symbolizes "Not For Long", and no team reflects that better than the Cleveland Browns.

Joseph is 24-years-old and was FAU's all-time field goal leader and tied the program's most extra point record.

Klopp confident Firmino will recover from eye injury
Meanwhile, Paris Saints-Germain head to the game following a 4-0 victory against St Etienne last Friday. Speaking to Liverpoolfc.com, Klopp said: "Unfortunately yes, we have new injury concerns".

Via multiple reports, the Browns are signing Greg Joseph to replace Gonzalez, who had missed three of his five field goal attempts in two games this season.

After running back Carlos Hyde rushed for a one-yard touchdown, the Browns led the Saints by a 12-3 count with 6:43 to play in the third quarter. To make room on the roster, the team waived K Zane Gonzalez.

Drew Brees then marched New Orleans up the field for a field goal that put the home side 21-18 in front - but there was still time for more drama.

Joseph's first game action will take place on Thursday night when the Browns host the New York Jets at FirstEnergy Stadium.
