Nintendo Switch Getting Classic NES Controllers

Nintendo is rolling out its Switch Online service next week

Here's to hoping that this forthcoming Nintendo Direct has some crucial additional information. Not the most shocking of reveals, mind you, but good stuff all around.

Each controller can be used separately for any of the co-operative NES games you may play as part of the Switch online service.

What was the standout moment for you? These will include Super Mario Bros, Ice Climbers, and the original Legend of Zelda. Exclusive gear for Splatoon 2 will be given to anyone who purchases a 1yr membership, starting in early October.

Tiger Woods finishes sixth at BMW Championship, qualifies for 2019 US Open
Rose, who overtook Dustin Johnson , joins Nick Faldo, Lee Westwood and Luke Donald as the only Englishmen to reach No. 1. Only the top 30 advance to the Tour Championship, marking the first time Spieth has missed the event since turning pro.

Nintendo Switch Online will also give subscribers the ability to back up their save data in the cloud.

Are you excited for Switch Online to hit, or are you just disappointed that you'll have to pay to play online soon? Nintendo announced on Wednesday that Nintendo Switch Online memberships will kick off on September 18th, which is less than a week away. Not a bad price, considering PS Plus and Xbox Live Gold both cost about $60 a year, though by all accounts you won't get as much with a Switch Online subscription.

As previous reports indicated, the Nintendo Direct presentation has been rescheduled for tomorrow.
