Texas A&M replaces Texas as most valuable college program

Kelly Bryant looks for running game Saturday night

Texas A&M ultimately had a game-tying two-point conversion attempt minutes later (which failed) but the fumble-touchback might have altered the outcome of the game. A failed two-point conversion with under a minute left was the difference, and the ultimate goal of pulling the upset over the second ranked Tigers didn't happen as the Aggies have now lost six in a row to programs ranked inside the top 25.

The Texas A&M surge to the top spot was due, in part, to donations taken in by the athletic department. From 2014 through the 2016-17 season, the A&M athletic department brought in $260 million in contributions, which was nearly twice as much as any other school made in the same time.

Per the report, the Aggies' average revenue over the course of the last three seasons amounts to $148 million.

Toronto Liberal MPs slam Ford's 'heavy-handed' use of notwithstanding clause
While Conservative pundits were quick to defend Ford, members of the Conservative party have been largely quiet on the topic until now.

Texas A&M signed coach Jimbo Fisher to a 10-year, $75 million contract during the offseason, and paying that apparently won't be too hard.

Money hasn't translated into wins, though. Texas A&M, Texas and MI haven't appeared in the College Football Playoff since it debuted in 2015. The most recent conference championship for any of those programs came in 2009, when the Longhorns won the Big 12 title. That's largely thanks to a roughly $10 million per year deal the athletic department has with Nike and a TV contract with ESPN for the Longhorn Network that runs through 2031.
